Valarie Snell, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina. I received my Masters of Social Work from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 2000.

I specialize in trauma recovery, but also treat a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and more severe disorders. I work with my clients to find what therapy methods work best for them, as we are all different individuals with different needs.

I have previously worked in domestic violence shelters, sexual assault crisis centers, and community mental health centers.  I am also currently in training to become a certified master herbalist.  I offer individual counseling, as well as offering herbal options in conjunction with counseling. I believe strongly in helping to restoring the client's sense of safety and choices.

I believe that the mind/ body/spirit connection can be a very important part of our healing, and work with clients to find their best path to healing.

Please call 841-4307 if you are interested in getting on Valarie's schedule.
