Jodie Loiacono, LCSW
Jodie Loiacono, LCSW has provided psychotherapy for more than 25 years since graduating from Barry University in Miami, Florida in 1999 in Clinical Social Work. She has extensive experience in community behavioral health, including work with adults living with severe and persistent mental illness and veterans, supporting clients with complex clinical needs, psychosocial stressors, and recovery-focused goals.
Jodie is passionate about working with adults in individual, couples, and family therapy, and is especially committed to helping people who feel emotionally exhausted from carrying too much—overthinking, people-pleasing, or trying to hold everything together while quietly struggling inside. Jodie supports clients coping with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship strain, and major life transitions that can make day-to-day life feel heavy and difficult to manage. Sometimes the work is simply about identifying “what’s next” in this season of life. In working with Jodie, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out. Jodie uses evidence-based, practical approaches, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, Trauma-Incident Reduction (TIR), mindfulness-based strategies, and solution-focused interventions—always tailored to your needs, pace, strengths, and goals. Jodie’s style is warm, direct, and deeply supportive. She believes meaningful change happens when therapy honors the whole person—mind and body—while staying focused on real-life tools that build stability, self-trust, and sustainable coping. Jodie is available for online sessions. Please reach out to us at 336-841-4307 to schedule your appointment with Jodie or for more information. |
