Patricia "Patti" Bagwell, LCMHC, NCC

Patti Bagwell received a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 2017. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina (LCMHC #13544) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC #885829).

Patti provides individual, family, couple, and group counseling for children, adolescents, and adults for a variety of presenting concerns. She is passionate about utilizing a holistic, strength-based approach to treatment. She believes in the importance of holistic healing that takes into account the whole person-mind, body, and spirit.

In working with clients, it is her goal to create a safe and positive counseling environment in which the individual can grow in self-awareness and feel empowered to make choices unique to his or her own counseling needs. She believes in client autonomy and that individuals know what will work best in connection to making changes and accomplishing wellness goals.

Her therapeutic approach is primarily person-centered while integrating motivational interviewing, narrative, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and acceptance and commitment therapy depending on personalized needs.

Her professional training and background includes helping clients with challenging life experiences, anxiety, depression, trauma, health concerns, chronic pain, terminal illness, caregiver fatigue, grief and loss, end -of- life issues, life transitions, and substance use and recovery.

Patti has a heart for helping people grow and learn better ways to deal with significant life stressors.
