Sunday Evening Meditation
Taught By: Julie Barrier Time/Date: Sundays from 6:30 – 7:30 pm Cost: $10.00
Description Meditation is a practice. It is a type of mind/body medicine. Scientifically, meditation increases alpha waves in the brain that allow us to use higher executive functioning in our day to day choices. Physiologically, it restores our nervous system. Spiritually, it inspires us to live from our authentic self. While meditation is an individual practice, there are many common techniques that can allow an optimal experience. If you have a daily mediation practice or are interested in starting one, come join us on Sundays at 6:30 pm. We will devote 30 min. time to share our experiences and challenges with meditation and 30 minutes to learn techniques and have quiet meditation together. “Everything in the future will improve, if you are making the spiritual effort now.” ~ Sri Yukteswar.
