Reiki
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese form of touch therapy which transmits Universal Life Force Energy to your energy body, returning the chakras (main energy centers) and pathways to balance. These energy centers are what allow our body and mind to function as designed and play a vital role in our emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical health. A Reiki treatment uses light touch or no touch techniques to transmit Universal Life Force Energy, also called Chi, Ki, or Prana. Reiki is a supportive, complimentary therapy that is done in conjunction with traditional treatment options. A Reiki treatment is a very relaxing, soothing, and powerfully cleansing experience!

Ayurveda Prana Chikitsa
In Ayurveda, the oldest system of healing still practiced, our experience of wellbeing is directly related to the energetics and biochemistry sustaining and harmonizing our body, mind, and spirit/consciousness. Prana is a Sanskrit word used to describe this biological masterwork. Prana is our vital energy. It governs our gross body movement as well as the processes of motion within our body, mind, and consciousness. For example, Prana relates to our respiration as well as the changes within our mental and emotional states.
Seasonal changes, life transitions, unsustainable methods of managing stress, worry and anxiety are a few root causes of misdirected Prana within our body, mind, and consciousness. However, we often to do not notice subtle signs of imbalance until we experience physical, mental, or emotional hinderances within our wellbeing.
Ayurvedic treatments for imbalances within the body, mind, consciousness are defined by various forms of Chikitsa. Chikitsa literally means inquiry, investigation, or exploration in Sanskrit; however, it is used in the Charaka Samhita, a Vedic medical text, to describe any method of addressing and treating disease within the body.
Ayurvedic Prana Chikitsa is a method of redirecting prana within our body to reestablish a sustainable since of wellbeing. When our vital energy is directed appropriately for our individual needs new healthy and revitalizing habits can take root.
Sessions consists of completing an inquiry based form prior to appointment so a treatment plan can be created to address your specific concerns. During the session, different hand positions are placed over vital energy points while you relax on a table. Additional sensory elements such as aromatherapy, lepana (herbal paste), nasya oil (medicated nasal drops), yantras (geometric shapes used for meditation), mantras, or mudras may be included in your treatment plan for the session. You can expect to feel relaxed and possibly to connect to a meditative awareness during your 45 min. session.
Ayurvedic Prana Chikitsa is used to help manage pain, anxiety, depression, nervous disorders. It is also used as a way to rejuvenate during seasonal and life transitions.
