CHH Policy Related To Covid -19
The safety and health of our community is always of the utmost importance to us. We are taking the concerns associated with the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) seriously and are closely monitoring this unfolding situation.
We are following the advice of the Centers for Disease Control, CDC, on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the disease. We are encouraging everyone involved with The Center to follow the personal hygiene and social distancing recommendations of the CDC. Mask are required at The Center for Holistic Healing.
With the focus of the wellness of our whole community we have altered our business model and some policies.
The Center for Holistic Healing is continuing to offer counseling, with online and some in person appointments. Some of our mental health clinicians and our Ayurvedic provider will be seeing clients in person. Please contact your counselor to discuss if your session will be online or in person. Reiki is also now being offered in person in the office by Julie Caroline. Please call Molly for more details on how this service will be provided.
Although your therapist may be working from home some days, he or she will be calling in to check their voicemails during their working hours. Please feel free to leave him or her a voicemail for non-emergency situations. 336-841-4307.
Due to Covid-19, in order to come into The Center for Holistic Healing for counseling for any service you will need to sign a consent for treatment. Molly will send you a copy of the consent through Docu Sign. However, if you would like to view the consents at this time they are available for download below.
We believe it is important to stay a part of a community and stay focused on wellness during this time. Hence, we have moved our classes to an online format. Email us at [email protected] to reserve your spot in one of our online classes such as yoga.
For your safety and for the safety of the staff, all clients attending in person sessions will be required to wear a mask during their time in The Center. If you do not have a mask, a paper mask will be provided to you.
In order to have an in person session, you will need to confirm that you are not experiencing fever, shortness of breath, dry cough, runny nose, sore throat, or a new loss of taste or smell. If you have had a positive test of Covid-19 or a presumptive positive, you will have to have been fever free for 72 hours, had your other symptoms vastly improved and 14 days will need to have passed since your symptom onset. Additionally, you can not have traveled outside the United States or traveled domestically within the United States by commercial airline, bus, or train in the last 14 days.
All clients will be receiving an email with a Docusign "consent to treat" document with these requirements stated. If you are planning to attend an in person session, you must have signed and returned by email this document prior to your appointment.
We understand that there are a lot of changes as we move through the challenges of Covid-19.The safety and well being of all of our clients and staff have been the basis for these changes. Above all else we want to do what is best to have the healthiest and safest community we can have.
We wish you and yours health, peace, and happiness and look forward to seeing you online or in person soon!
